Privacy Policy

Flash Social Tracker (“the Service”) is a private tool operated by Flash Ventures Oy (Business ID 3364716-9) (“Flash”, “we”, “us”) to track the performance of social media content we produce for our clients. This policy explains what data the Service handles and how. It applies to the social media accounts our clients connect to the Service.

What we collect

When a social media account is connected to the Service via the platform’s official login, we store:

• Authentication tokens issued by the platform (Meta, Google/YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn), stored encrypted and used only to read analytics on the connected account’s behalf.
• Account identifiers — the connected account’s ID, name and handle.
• Performance metrics — periodic snapshots of public/aggregate figures such as followers, views, reach, impressions, likes, comments, shares and watch time, plus titles/captions and basic stats of published posts and videos, used to build performance reports.

We do not collect or store private messages, and we do not request the ability to post, send messages, or modify content. The Service is read-only.

How we use it

The data is used solely to display analytics dashboards and generate periodic performance reports for the account’s owner (our client). We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it for any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

Legal basis (GDPR)

For clients and accounts in the EU, we process this data on the basis of our contract to provide social media services, and with the consent granted through each platform’s authorization screen. The data controller is Flash Ventures Oy (Business ID 3364716-9).

Sharing & third parties

Data is retrieved from the official APIs of Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (YouTube), TikTok and LinkedIn. It is stored in a secure cloud database and hosting environment used to run the Service. We do not share it with any other third parties.

Retention

We keep connection tokens and metric snapshots for as long as the account remains connected. Disconnecting a platform, or deleting the customer, permanently removes the stored tokens and associated data.

Security

Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to the Service is restricted to authorized Flash staff via authenticated login.

Your rights & data deletion
